FAQ

What happens after the floor 5 boss?
The current route guide describes a safehouse between floors 5 and 6 where you choose a route boss. The floor 5 encounter is a random Manager from the pool currently unlocked for the run.
How do I reach Hyperion?
Choose Apollo, defeat Dark Eris by having Psychedelism active when Apollo is defeated, unlock Dark Eris, and then use the Apollo route again. CapyDB lists Hyperion after Dark Eris has been unlocked.
How do Zeus route choices work?
The Zeus route branches through the Wisdom aspect to Athena or the Violence aspect to Ares. Prometheus becomes available after the chosen floor 7 boss is unlocked.
How do I reach Theia?
The route guide lists Theia after Dark Aphrodite has been unlocked. Hermes with fewer than 10 Hatchmon leads to Aphrodite; 10 or more leads to Dark Aphrodite and ends that run.
Are every boss unlock condition confirmed?
No. Hermes's own unlock condition and some DLC boss requirements remain unconfirmed in the checked source. Treat those entries as verification notes, not guaranteed shortcuts.

How boss progression is structured

Boss progression is a route map rather than one fixed list. The current CapyDB boss route guide says floor 5 selects a random Manager from the pool currently unlocked. A safehouse between floors 5 and 6 then lets you choose a route boss. This guide records that secondary PC-build reference as checked October 9, 2026; it does not turn unconfirmed unlock notes into facts.

Floor 5 and the route table

The listed Manager pool includes Trojan, Talos, Argus, and Hal, subject to the unlocks on the account. The route after the safehouse is summarized below.

Floor 6 choice Floor 7 result Later result
Apollo Eris normally; Dark Eris if Psychedelism is active when Apollo falls Hyperion after Dark Eris has been unlocked; Dark Eris ends the run.
Zeus Wisdom aspect leads to Athena; Violence aspect leads to Ares Prometheus after the chosen floor 7 boss is unlocked.
Hermes Fewer than 10 Hatchmon leads to Aphrodite; 10 or more leads to Dark Aphrodite Theia after Dark Aphrodite has been unlocked; Dark Aphrodite ends the run.
Dark Zeus Erinyes Cronus.

The route guide also lists an unlock chain: Trojan to Talos to Apollo to Eris to Dark Eris to Hyperion; Hyperion to Zeus to Athena or Ares to Prometheus to Dark Zeus to Erinyes to Cronus; and Hermes to Aphrodite to Dark Aphrodite to Theia. Read those arrows as the source’s progression summary. A fresh run still needs the relevant bosses unlocked before the later destination appears.

Faith and Hatchmon gates

The Apollo branch checks whether Psychedelism is active at the moment Apollo is defeated. The Hermes branch checks the Hatchmon count for that run. The Faith system guide explains how to build a Faith meter and why descending resets it; the beginner guide covers room economy and Hatchmon basics. Do not assume that holding a Faith somewhere earlier in the run is enough for the Apollo condition.

The official 1.0 announcement also calls out Theia, Storm Breach, and a hidden boss in a fishing room. Those launch features are evidence that the 1.0 roster is broader than this route table; the hidden fishing-room encounter is not inserted into the route without a source that places it there.

How to plan a route responsibly

Before choosing at the safehouse, write down the next condition rather than only the final name. For an Apollo attempt, verify that Psychedelism is active. For Hermes, count Hatchmon and understand whether the route ends at Dark Aphrodite. For Zeus, identify the Wisdom or Violence aspect available to the run. Keep the route name, source date, and game build with any screenshot or community report.

The Agent reference and multiplayer guide cover progression choices that can change a run’s resources, but neither proves an unlisted boss requirement. Hermes’s unlock condition and some DLC requirements remain open verification items in the research record.
